Fiat Automobiles has launched its limited edition Linea Elegante in India at a price of Rs.9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Linea Elegante is not much different from the Fiat Linea and sees only minor changes made to it.
Some of the changes that can be seen on the exterior of the Linea Elegante are new 16-inch alloy wheels, redesigned rear spoiler, new decal, a new panoramic black roof, and an all new sporty body kit. As far changes on the inside of the car is concerned, there it gets a new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new seat covers and new floor mats with the Elegante branding.
NO change has been made as far as the engine is concerned. The car is still powered by the same 1.4-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel engines which are capable of giving out peak powers of 112bhp and 92bhp respectively.
With the Linea Elegante, Fiat is targeting a very narrow section of customers who want a little more luxury than what is offered in regular sedans. That is the reason why the Elegante is a limited edition car and will not be mass produced.
