The limited edition version of the Alto K10, named the Alto K10 Urbano, has been launched by Maruti Suzuki in a bid to usher in festive season cheer for the company. A special Onam edition of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 had also been launched by the company earlier and it is known for making special limited edition cars to suit the occasion.
The Urbano will not see major changes in terms of the technical aspects with the 1.0-litre K-series all aluminium engine continuing to run on the car which delivers 69PS in terms of power as well as 90Nm of torque. The car is mated to a five speed manual transmission and delivers a fuel efficiency of a reported 24.07kmpl.
According to the Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, R S Kalsi, the Urbano will bring convenience as well as happiness to customers this festive season as it comes with a characteristic silver and black theme which has complementary garnish and body graphics. Many features such as hands free Bluetooth kit and reverse parking sensor have also been added to the car which will make it stylish, trendy and all the more attractive for customers.
The car has as many as 18 additional features and these can be availed at a price that is Rs 16,990 more than the usual Alto K10. There is also a special 90 per cent funding which is available on the MGA package that the model comes with.
