Yet, many resemble it to the compact Xylo. For the makeover of said, the carmaker has developed a fresh Quanto at its backend, which it will bring soon. The major change with the vehicle will remain its completely fresh front allowing it a distinct appearance than the predecessor. But another major change will remain its new platform. Touted as next-gen ladder chassis consisted of hydro foaming, it will turn stiffer to offer better drive quality and handling, which has already helped the Scorpio and reduced its weight by tremendously. A 1.5-litre diesel will find its way under the bonnet of Quanto, with the first time AMT will also make way to the list.

The same engine of new Quanto of 1.5-litre will suit its bay with three cylinders and manual gearbox. AMT may take the business at a later stage, while AWD can make to the list further. Some speculations utter to pronounce it as ‘new Bolero’ due to the reason of acting as a bridge between the current Bolero and the new-gen Scorpio which is quite smarter in the nature.

The company’s most adored SUV/crossover is a bit outdated and a facelift will just pinch it as well as tuck to go for some more years before another resurrection.
