Appropriately, it launched the locally manufactured SUV MU-7 in BS IV variant for India at Rs. 22.3 lakh ex-showroom Hyderabad. While the BS III variant of same is rolled out at Rs. 22 lakh.
The Japanese carmaker launched MU-7 silently during December 2013 for Rs. 23.75 lakh. During the initial year, vehicle was being imported to our nation in CBU (completely built form) from Thailand, and so the additional dose of duties on it raised the price for the organization.
At present, Isuzu has started the manufacturing in India at Hindustan Motors’ facility near Chennai. The Toyota Fortuner competing SUV of Isuzu is said to be made available at 8 dealerships in South India at a near future.
Isuzu MU-7 comes loaded with a 3.0-litre 160.8bhp 16V 4JJ1 Intercooled VGS Turbo Diesel engine worth of 161bhp and 360Nm of torque. Making informed, the Japanese SUV uses platform of its truck variant underneath, that’s why the rear wheel arch is pleased slightly back towards the rear than other conventional SUVs.
