It seems long back when we have lastly heard about the Mahindra compact SUV. The fresh update from a source revealed the baby SUV to offer automatic transmission and plush interiors. Single binnacle instrument cluster, couple of rectangular AC vents on the top on central console, and number of buttons for multimedia controls depicts the said in clear format.
A small screen will sit in between for displaying minute information, and just below it are the three HVAC knobs positioned vertically.
Unlikely for any premium car to hold a gearbox like this, the gear lever has moved to the dashboard freeing the space between the front passenger and driver that can be put to use for other utilities, seen in Datsun GO Plus or better say like vintage cars.
This time, the carmaker has slightly moved off the track from its image of UV manufacturer. The A-pillar starts from front wheel arch, putting on offer a generous amount of cabin space, and long wheelbase is seen stretched along the entire length. These design ergonomics pose it more of a hatchback like-profile than a proper compact SUV from the stable of Mahindra.
