So the date has finally been revealed and it’s September 3. Yes on this day, the much awaited Mahindra Marazzo will be launched here in India. Co-developed by Mahindra’s research valley in Chennai and its North American Technical Center along with the likes of Pininfarina, the Marazzo is inspired by sharks.
In fact, that’s what the name means in Basque language and tries to mimic every aspect of a shark.
The Marazzo will be offered in seven and eight seats configurations. While the seven-seat set up receives a captain seat in the second row, the eight-seat configuration gets a bench seat in the same place. On the inside, the Marazzo interior receives a black and beige tone, a T-shaped dash with false aluminium inserts, leatherette seat upholstery, a 7.0-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, automatic climate control and AC vents for all three rows.
The Marazzo will debut Mahindra’s all new 1.5-liter 121HP diesel engine. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
