Mahindra Scorpio is more than a decade old. Despite this fact, it still manages to give the modern day SUVs a run for their money. To confirm it, one can check out the last month’s sales report of Scorpio against the Renault Duster, where it outsold the French SUV with some cool numbers.
Hence, the festive season is nearby, and to maintain its hold for the coming season, Mahindra is in the league to roll-out some new versions of Scorpio, where the first teaser of same had lend us this image. The vehicle posted in this image looks like the Scorpio Special Edition which the Mahindra had previewed at 2010 Delhi Auto Expo.
The partly-covered vehicle in the teaser image sneaks us about the checkered flag decal above the front fog lamp, blackened scuff plate and chromed alloys. One can realize the similar tweaks can be experienced on Mahindra Scorpio Special Edition of 2010 Delhi Auto Expo too. In addition, the checkered flag decal can also be experienced on the front door at the Expo previewed model.
Hope so the Special Edition Scorpio will appeal to the buyers of top-end variant; where the carmaker will also delight them with the leather upholstery and leather draped steering wheel, roof-mounted DVD player, and some nip and tuck here and there regarding the quality of cabin materials.
The 2010 Mahindra Scorpio Special Edition was restricted only to 1,000 units, this time we hope the figures may be stretched to a bit more extent, for luring the large number of customers in showrooms.
