Always spiked in the image of barbed wires and slush, the off-road going Mahindra Thar in India is now launched in special Adventure Edition, available only for first 30 buyers.
The cosmetic changes made in and around make it to look meaner and admirable than before. The Java brown paint shade and decals of maps and compass covering the whole body charms it for the first sight. Head and tail lamps protector, chaff for radiator, raised wheel arches with the black plastic are the gimmicks for external protection over off-road.
Inside the cabin, black seats with orange piping and Adventure Edition embossed on the seat back makes it more lucrative with moulded floor mats. The central console too gets refreshment.
Under the bonnet, Adventure Edition Mahindra Thar stores a 2498cc NEF TCi-CRDe worth developing 105hp @ 3800rpm and peak torque of 247Nm between 1800-2000rpm. The traction is sent to all wheels (4WD variant), which is now confirmed lower DI variants of Thar will not fall under the edition update.
Hence, no words on pricing, but as per our consideration prices expected to go up by certain notches looking down to the exclusively. On a brief note, a stock Thar CRDe costs Rs 7,37,201 ex-showroom Delhi.
