Mahindra to roll out SsangYong Rexton on Oct 17th

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd declared that it will roll out its much expected high-end sport utility vehicle, SsangYong Rexton, in the Indian market on October 17.

A company representative stated that the introduction of the SUV will happen in Mumbai, accompanied by the national capital, Bangalore and other top cities in a synchronized way.

As per reports, SsangYong Rexton is the first high-end sport utility vehicle below SsangYong flag to be fabricated at the M&M Ltd. production plant in Chakan, near the city of Pune, Maharashtra.

The company’s (M&M Ltd.), automotive & farm equipment sectors president and chairman SsangYong Motors PawanGoenka stated that SsangYong Rexton is the initial vehicle from SsangYong product range to be brought out in the country after M&M Ltd. got hold of the Korean firm during March last year.

Mr. Goenka added that the third generation, high-end Rexton has carved out its individual place in 66 nations all over the globe, comprising Europe, Russia as well as Korea.

Mr. Goenka showed buoyancy that Rexton will generate a strong bond with premium sport utility vehicle purchasers in the Indian market because of its classy styling, comfortable interiors, greater handling and on and off-road presentation.

Mr. Goenka also satted that the Indian purchasers can also foresee a high-performance diesel engine catering the Rexton with a grouping of superiority and alteration, and comfy passenger comforts.

Mr. Goenka also said that with the introduction of the much applauded XUV/500 in 2011, M&M Ltd. assist the group stamp its attendance in the premium sport utility vehicles section.

“With the introduction of the SsangYong Rexton, we expect to further swell the Mahindra attendance in the high-end sport utility vehicle section,” Mr. Goenka added.
