The upcoming compact SUV from Mahindra’s stable, the Mahindra XUV300 would be launched on 14 thFebruary. Advance bookings for the car was opened last week and the car can be booked with an advance payment of Rs.20,000.
The XUV300 shares its underpinnings with the Ssangyong Tivoli. But in case of XUV300, the platform has been modified to make it fall under the four-meter category. Features in the XUV300 include ABS, four-wheel disc brakes, LED taillights, power windows and air bags as standard. Top end models would have the parking sensors, diamond cut alloy wheels, 8.0- inch touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, sunroof and seven airbags.
The car, once it is launched, would rivals the likes of Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Creta.
