The crossover in its new dress will sport number of distinctions than that of the current model. Chromed
Mahindra, quite curious to bring its new XUV500 soon, is now rumoured to launch it on May 25, 2015.
The crossover in its new dress will sport number of distinctions than that of the current model. Chromed front grille, new headlamps, and completely revised front fascia are the tweaks spotted on the XUV facelift.
The rear too sport refreshed number plate holder, where it was also found the new alloys designed of 10-spokes. However, inside the cabin, our source has reported of the same theme being carried over from the present model, but the color is changed to lend it a premium feel.
Hence, guise under its bonnet will remain the same with engine of 2.2-litre MHawk diesel to send the max output of 120bhp and 330Nm of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission, alongside the options of 2WD and 4WD. A purple shade is also reported to cling up the list, apparently with other new paint options.
Thus, Mahindra brought XUV500 to India in September 2011, and since then it is witnessing great sales throughout. Just to give a fair idea of that, for the past six months this model has averaged 2,750 units throughout the country.
Hence, it remains interesting to see how this crossover will perform in this congesting market scenario over the time to come.
