Manchester United Edition of Chevrolet Beat And Sail Launched In India

Football Fever – the stint that had grimed everyone in the world these days hasn’t claimed an exception for the Chevy.  Launched the Manchester United limited edition versions of its Beat and Sail hatchbacks in India, the Chevrolet resorted to them to mark the celebration of a seven-year t-shirt sponsorship contract with the football team.

Describing it in detail, the car is done with the Manchester United Decals, Alloy Wheels, Special Seat Covers, Music System, Illuminated Sill Plates, OSRVM’s with Blinkers, Roof Rails and exclusive branding.

SAIL Hatchback Manchester United Edition

Hitting the sales floor from today, limited edition cars are available for the LS variant in the popular Super Red colour in both petrol and diesel options.

Commenting it in detail, Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, GM India said, “We are proud to announce the launch of the Chevrolet Beat and SAIL Hatchback Manchester United Editions for football fans in India. Available in limited quantity, the models celebrate Chevrolet’s Shirt Sponsorship with Manchester United beginning today.”

“The two models showcased at the recent 2014 Indian Auto Expo have been designed by our engineers at the General Motors Technical Center India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore on popular customer demand with exclusive Manchester United livery kits. These specially designed models will cost only Rs 69,000 over the original versions,” Mr. Saxena added.

For the added excitement, Manchester United Chevrolet Beat and SAIL will conclude the multi-city tour called ‘Chevrolet Fast Moves’ on July 8 in India. A golden opportunity will be given to two winners via a contest by GM India in which they will be entitled with a friend each to watch the legendary team’s first match in North America in August 2014. The winners of the contest will be announced on July 10, 2014.
