Barely few words had been spoken about it, but we got the clue Maruti Ertiga is bound to undergo the facelift session soon. However, it was quite old to look at the MPV when the market is flourished with the Honda Mobilio and Datsun Go Plus.
Reportedly, this is the first time Maruti’s MPV is spotted testing without the camouflages. The vehicle was painted in white paint shade, and was found sporting new front grille with thick chromed slats– that made Maruti to think of connecting well with the Indian ideologies. In addition, the chromed inserts were also seen in the fog lamp enclosure but all of them are in vain to change the overall appeal of Ertiga.
In fact, the rear isn’t visible at all, but for the sources it also happens to be tweaked with revamped tail lamps. The cabin may host a brand new feel with the spanking upholstery, engine start-stop button, automatic climate control and updated infotainment system lifted from that Swift facelift.
Hence, Maruti wished for gaining more out of the less, will continue with the same engine options as of now, as they are already leading the fuel-efficiency. A murmur of automated manual transmission (AMT) was also heard of, but couldn’t be confirmed until the launch. Hence, a report of the industry briefs it to get launched by June 2015. Till then, except for the spy-shots, Maruti doesn’t wish to drop any clue.
