The need to preserve our environment is being given a lot of emphasis by the NGO’s and government from all over the world. The petrol and diesel prices too are rising alarmingly. This situation is being monopolized by the car manufacturing companies. Maruti Suzuki India has launched its yet another CNG run car called CNG Ertiga. The company is already taking orders for this car at the cost of Rs 10,000.
Ertiga is a recent launch from Maruti Suzuki India. It was launched in April 2012 and so far has sold over 87,000 vehicles in India. Maruti calls it an LUV which means a life utility vehicle. The CNG Ertiga is available in LXi version, which is the basic model and VXi version, which is the higher version.
Before CNG Ertiga, Maruti launched 5 other CNG run models. These were Eeco, Wagon R, Alto , SX4 and Estilo. All these models are available with pre-fitted CNG kits.
