Maruti Suzuki since quite sometime is trying to upgrade almost all of its successful ventures. This can be attributed to the recent down curve it has seen in its sales. The latest to be upgraded by Maruti Suzuki is Maruti Ritz. The present upgraded version is called as Ritz Abuzz. This new car comes with a total of 12 new elements that add to the look and comfort of the car.

Maruti Ritz is the Indian version of Splash. The name of the Japanese car was already registered by Ford and hence the name Ritz was given to the car during its launch in India. Ritz proved out to be the most successful Indian launch for Suzuki. In a total of 37 months after its launch it sold over 2 lac units. It is competing with a lot of leading brands in the Indian market.
Ritz Abuzz is an effort to add to the sales of the car in the Indian market. Modifications have been made to the exteriors as well interiors. The changes made to the exterior include bumper protectors, mud flaps, door visors as well as body graphics. This has given Ritz Abuzz a very fresh look. The interiors have been garnished with better seat covers, special rear tray, 6 speaker music system added with Bluetooth connectivity, floor mats as well as door sills. There is also a rear parking sensor.
The engine is same as before. The model is available in both 1.2-litre petrol engine as well as a 1.3 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine comes with an added 4 speed automatic transmission.
The official price is not being declared yet. The installation of these features is done by the official dealers and might cost around 15 to 20 thousand in addition to the cost of the standard Ritz.
