The festive season hadn’t stopped Maruti to do its frequent job of limited editions. Not even spared the recently launched Celerio, it rolled-out ‘VXi+ limited edition pack’ for LXi and VXi buyers. Likewise to its other such adornments, edition packs accessories worth Rs 20k at a discounted price of Rs 14k only.
Underneath this delightful wrap (of Celerio VXi+), there comes body-colored wing mirrors with infused side indicators, body colored door handles, 2-DIN music system by JVC, number of speakers and central locking system.
Under the bonnet, no changes are made. A 1.0L petrol engine continues its job mated to 5-speed manual & AMT gearboxes.
Hence, instead of mulling over limited editions automaker would have made way for the Celerio diesel. It could have proven more sense during the time of festivities. But it seems plans for the said had taken a backseat.
