Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire limited edition called ‘LDiX’ launched for Rs 6.86 lakh (on-road, Delhi). The new addition to the cluster of Maruti sounds a viable effort to curb the effects of oncoming Hyundai’s Xcent sedan which will be placed in the same entry-level sedan category.
Otherwise, the conventional Swift Dzire costs Rs 6.61 lakh (on road, Delhi).
The additional value of money brings in 12 extra features to the LDiX, namely front fog lamps, ORVM embedded turn signal lamps, front and rear power windows, security system SS, passenger vanity mirror, integrated audio system with CD and AUX, front and rear speakers with tweeters, day & night IRVM, and wheel cover.
Power delivery remains reminiscent with the famous 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine of 75PS max power and 190Nm of peak torque. The power plant is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
