The list of vehicles that received wide praise and became instant hits in 2012 includes the Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga. Now as the year 2012 is finally getting to an end, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to roll out its new vehicle the Maruti Suzuki XA Alpha.
The Maruti Suzuki XA Alpha, which was introduced to the world at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, looks a rocky yet a contemporary sports utility vehicle (SUV) with broad shoulder line, eagle eye like head lights, distinctive L-shaped tail lights and a unique front grille.
Being an entry-level SUV, the XA Alpha is sub-four meter in length. Thus, it will be entitled to the Maruti excise duty benefits. Hence, we can expect this upcoming vehicle to be priced really competitive.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the country’s biggest car manufacturer by volume, the Maruti XA Alpha offers a blend of ruggedness and power of a SUV and elegance, a certain finesse and compactness of a luxury car.
But, the manufacturer has not revealed any detailed features of the upcoming vehicle’s engine options. The manufacturer has an option to make use of the updated variant of its potent and proven 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engine that is found under the hood of the current Ertiga. However, it is just a guess at this point of time.
Analysts are of the view that the Maruti Suzuki XA Alpha will leave all competitors behind if it is priced well.
