Maruti Swift Platinum edition is not exactly the one rolled out by carmaker. A dealer in Bangalore named ‘Kalyani Motors’ has launched it privately from its bay, charging an additional price of Rs. 1,45,950 over the standard Swift.
It is made available in fuel trims of petrol as well as diesel. Only cosmetic changes are carried, technical specifications remain the same of the present-day Swift.
Naming tweaks, headlamps gone under the knife for a major chunk, housed with a blackened lenses, daytime running LEDs and projector lamps. Front grille and air intake, which earlier used to be of black plastic, now sees a silver paint job. Front-rear bumpers get fitted with spoiler, while a roof spoiler can also be witnessed in that same black color spoiler. Black-grayish decals flanking from the rear pillar to front door handles enhancing the appeal of vehicle to an extra mile, and that ‘Swift’ imprinted on the pillar in-between the decal catches attention immensely.
The tail lamp is also been changed, brake lamps now gets LEDs, while the other inputs in the closure is been derived from what the headlamps are been bestowed with.
Inside, the leather-type looking seat covers and Alpine stereo system with an amplifier and four Sony speakers completes the deal. Only nag that customer are needed to concentrate is, the vehicle which they are going to chose for aping into a Platinum edition shall be of ‘white’ paint job.
