Finally, Maruti has admitted, it doesn’t always pays off staying the low-profile, where to say it with a piece of evidence a report from the renowned source confirmed this carmaker to be opening swanky new posh showrooms for selling its big cars, and we literally mean it. Since after the launch of Ciaz, it marked the entry into premium side of car-making where to sell it also needed the similar layout showrooms for appealing the buyers, especially those who were turned down by the SX4 and Baleno in the past despite those cars being a good as the product.
As market for the premium cars start from metropolitan cities, it shall not be doubted the first examples of these showroom will come up in Mumbai, Delhi, and approximately 30-35 of them will raise their heads in the next one year. Though, the company denied from selling posh units under a new brand, but it’s just the new sales floor to house such special models with a brand new experience. However, models like Alto, Ritz, Wagon R, Swift, Dzire and more makes up for the sales figures needed to complete the target. Whereas the cars like Ciaz, upcoming S-Cross, a new compact SUV and Grand Vitara felt the need to be sold in the premium bays.
Hence, no clues how successful it is going to be for Maruti. After all, we believe, it’s the attitude that sells, and not a well-refined sales floor, that’s where the company is needed to think over.
