Indian Autos Blog has come out with the rendering of the Maruti Vitara Brezza RS. The Vitara Brezza RS could see light of day if Maruti ever decides to expand the RS name. According to the rendering the car could come with a sportier body kit, lower ground clearance, 16-inch alloy wheels painted in black, and a bolder grille with vertical chrome slats. Inside, Maruti could offer RS exclusive seat upholstery, floor carpets, and color-coordinated interior trim options for a livelier appeal.
As for the engine, the Vitara Brezza RS could pack the Baleno RS’ 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 100 hp (75kW) at 5,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque between 1,700 rpm – 4,500 rpm. In the Baleno RS, the 1.0L Boosterjet can average a fuel mileage of 21.1kmpl. So expect the Vitara Brezza RS to be lower owing to its heavier kerb weight.
