Seems Maruti is all set to introduce a 7-seater Maruti Wagon R to its Indian buyers. The car would be sold through Maruti’s Nexa showrooms and will have three rows of seats.
When the car would be launched is still a mystery since Maruti is still in a dilemma of sorts as sales of Wagon R have dipped of late.
It is likely that the car would be sold under a new name to avoid the disinterest Wagon R has generates lately. It is also likely that along with conventional fuel engines, the new car would be given a hybrid or a fully electric powertrain.
