This year has started on a good note for Maruti Suzuki which had suffered a lot in the last year owing to the natural disasters that struck Japan. All the operations of the company were hampered and now Maruti is pushing its workload beyond barriers and looking forward to compensate all the losses that they faced. Earlier this year Maruti unveiled the improvised versions of A-Star and Swift DZire respectively which met with good response though the critics felt the predecessor model of Swift DZire was much better than the successor. But what matters is that the company made a head start this fiscal with two new launches. But that is not all.
Apparently Maruti is working on a facelift of Ritz very soon and most probably will be unveiling the first look of the car in no time. There have been reports that the look of the car has been revealed to some specific people and they have revealed that the outer camouflage of the car seems to be stronger than its antecedent especially the front grille as well as the rear. The main alteration has been basically made in the outer camouflage though most probably, changes will be made in the ergonomics of the car and the exteriors of the car will be kept as they are at the moment. But only a layman would say that since Maruti can come up with a surprise and has the potential of changing the overall outlook of the car.
In the upcoming few months, the first look of the car will be revealed and most probably by the end of this year or before that, the face-lifted model will be launched in the market. Since the last few months Maruti has been looking forward to having double fuel engines in their cars which can support CNG as well. The idea has high chances of being implemented upon the upcoming Ritz. The most-praised feature of the car is usually termed as its height as it gives ample height to enter the car as well as exit it especially for elder people. The car has been accepted well in the Indian automobile market and is available in both petrol as well as diesel variants.
Maruti Suzuki is famous for its K-Series engines and Ritz is powered by a 1.2 L K-Series engine. On the other hand the diesel variant of Ritz is powered by 1.3 L Multi-jet engine. 2011 did not fare well for the automobile heavyweight due to the natural disasters striking Japan and adding to that, Maruti had to face quite many protests against its operations. As a result the launch of the new swift could not garner expected demand from the customers and thus the sales as well as production of the new swift took a beating. This is where Ritz came to the rescue and thus escalated and maintained the sales rate of its cars.
Thus anticipation is building up around the launch of the all new improvised Ritz and Maruti hopes to generate a wide buzz in the market.
