Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer Maschio Gaspardo has established its first facility in the Indian market at Ranjangoan near the city of Pune.
Indian Union Minister for Agriculture Sharad Pawar kicked off the newly set up plant on September 23rd.
Made with an overall outlay of about Rs.200 crore, the new facility will firstly create rotary tillers and deliver them to tractor manufacturers Mahindra and Mahindra in addition to New Holland India.
Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer also proposes to bring in technology in the country’s agricultural market with additional products, and expand those specific to local requirements.

The Pune based facility will presentlyhire around 120 individuals and will augment the figure to 250 people together with proposed further investment of Rs.100 crore till the year 2017.
