Apparently, 592 horsepower driving under the rear is not enough for McLaren. That is why, the British carmaker has decided to add few more ponies to the spectacular mid-engined supercar, the MP4-12C.
As Car and Driver reports, the McLaren MP4-12C will add 25 more horses to the glorious 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, giving it a final thrust of 618 horsepower.
Now, for passengers to enjoy the sweet buzzing in the cabin, McLaren offers enhanced valve sound tube system that filters intake noise into the cabin. While currently, the sound is dependent on the choice of gear, for 2013, the volume will be manually adjustable at all revs.
As a part of the 2013 model, theĀ McLaren MP4-12C gets adjustable front and rear suspensions, to adjust the ride height at varying speeds. The touch screen function now adds Bluetooth connectivity and Sat-Nav.
Delightfully, all these features cost absolutely nothing to the customers. However, when the cars rolls out in the 2013 model year, McLaren might offer a few more shillings.
