As per reports, the company is likely to carry out a personal preview of its new offering (A Class) for traders and select clientele on May 4th. The progression of the vehicle introduction appears to be a wise step as the company would be eyeing to maintain its recently attained No. 2 spot in the country’s luxury vehicle market.

The Mercedes Benz A Class will be placed below the B Class as the most low-priced car. The vehicle is projected to be imported as complete built unit, and will finally be accumulated at the company’s Chakan based plant near Pune, Maharashtra.
The India spec Mercedes Benz is expected to be catered by an 1.8 litre diesel in addition to 1.6 litre petrol engine.
A seven speed double clutch mechanical transmission is likely to be standard in both comprising Mercedes Petrol and Mercedes Diesel.
