Reportedly, Mercedes-AMG unveiled the GLE63 coupe with a performance twist.
Two variants are rolled out, a one is the stock GLE Coupe, and then comes the powerful version called ‘S’.
Looking down to the cosmetic changes, they are majorly the dual-slat front grille, a power bulge on bonnet, differently sculpted front bumper and LED headlamps seen at the first stance.
Additionally, those grey alloy-wheels, side cladding, a rear spoiler, diffusers and quad exhausts infused into the rear bumper makes for the further move.
In fact, the two engine options provided underneath the hood. A one for the ‘S’ is a 5.5-litre V8 twin-turbo producing 577bhp and 760Nm of torque. This translates its 0-100kph going capacity in a claimed time of 4.2 seconds. On the other side, a stock Mercedes GLE 63 comes strapped by a 5.5-litre engine making a low tune of power at 549bhp and 700Nm of torque.
The transmission duties of GLE63 AMG are carried out by a 7-speed automatic gearbox which transfers power to all the four-wheels using the Mercedes’ 4Matic system. Five different driving modes are up for experiencing the throttle – Individual, Sport, Sport Plus, Comfort and Slippery Transmission. For stopping this beast, brakes are worked upon to the cross-drilled 390mm steel discs on front, and 345mm at rear.
