Mercedes Benz has launched its B-Class sports tourer in India for Rs.21.49 lacs (ex-showroom Mumbai). This latest edition from Mercedes Benz comes with 1.8liter turbocharged petrol engine, which delivers a peak power of 122HP. The engine of this front wheel drive tourer has been mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car comes with a top speed of 190kmphand fuel-efficiency figure of 14.81kmpl.
As is the case with almost every Mercedes vehicle, the Mercedes Benz B-Class comes with a hoard of safety features, which includes seven airbags, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brakes and Attention Assist (only in the high end variants). Apart form that the owners will also get a panoramic sunroof as well as a Bluetooth streaming system.
The Mercedes Benz B-Class will come with two year/unlimited km warranty. A third year warranty is offered free of cost at the Star Care. But there is some bad news for you. Bookings for 250 units of the cars for this year have already been completed and the delivery of these cars will begin in a few days. So if you are looking to buy one of these babies, you will have to wait a little longer. You can book this car now, but you will have to wait till next year to get your hands on the wheel of the new Mercedes Benz B-Class.
Two variants of the car has been launched – B180 and B180 Sport (with AMG package). Price of these variants is Rs.21.49 lacs and Rs.24.87lacs respectively. No diesel variant is on offer as of now.
