A new Mercedes Benz dealership has been opened in Chhattisgarh capital of Raipur. Called Auto Hangar Raipur, it is one of the 15 dealerships that Mercedes plans to open this year. Located close to National Highway 6 at Tatibandh Square, this dealership was built in 10 months with an investment of Rs.8 crore.
The showroom is spread over an area of 17,707 square feet and includes a customer lounge, a Mercedes Café, accessories display area and a service area for cars.
From premium luxury cars point of view, Chhattisgarh is still not than an attractive market, but it is growing. So it is clear that Mercedes wants to have a footprint in this part of India and have included it in its expansion plan.
Currently, Mercedes has 74 dealerships in 39 Indian cities – highest by any luxury car maker in India. The company is planning to add 15 more by the end of this year.
