A couple of days back one of the media house had spotted E Class facelift doing test rounds in Pune that too without any camouflage, slating launch nearby; and now it had became the official news of Mercedes Benz India. Yes, the MB India had teased E Class facelift on its Facebook fan page via short video clip.
Debuted at 2013 Detroit Motor Show, New E Class is all set to dab its foot deep in the Indian soil against the competitors like BMW and Audi.
Germans had released the teaser in which they had shown the amalgamated headlamps of newbie. Apart from this they hadn’t previewed anything else. But we speculate the same international version to be launched over here, without any changes. Engine expectations goes with the 2 liter petrol and 2 liter diesel engine, (both) assimilated with the 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. And we hope Mercedes Benz India knows better than us where to clock down the mileage, hence fuel efficiency not to be an issue.
