Mercedes Benz is India’s Most Admired Automobile Company: Fortune India

Mercedes Benz is the most “admired” automobile company in India, says Fortune India ranking.

This is the second time that the aforementioned group had conducted the survey, and their studies are being concluded on the basis of ten parameters—corporate governance, endurance, performance, quality, innovation, financial soundness, leadership, corporate social responsibility, talent management, and global business footprint. For the grading methodology, a clutter of 552 senior executives across selected companies are made to participate in this survey and are made to rank their subordinates on the basis of those aforementioned parameters

Escorting the Fortune India, global management consultancy – the Hay Group was had also lent their experience for concluding such observational ranking.

Fortune India had chosen only 493 companies across 16 key sectors, out of which automobile is also the one, for this study. And they are being taken into consideration by survey authority on the basis of size, contribution to GDP, growth rate, maturity, competition, a minimum number of sectoral players, and national presence.

The survey was carried between March and June 2013.
