Mercedes-Benz India launched the stylish CLS 350 Model Year 2014 edition for Rs. 89.9 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
The CLS 350 Sports is a host of new 15-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights at the back. A new silver diamond colour is also painted on the outers.
Inside the cabin, the amazing flaws continues to glaze with Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system consisted of 14 high-performance speakers, including a subwoofer and a 9-channel DSP amplifier. There are three themes for ambient lighting to suit the moods of owners, which can be named as Neutral, Solar or Polar modes.
The power to this vehicle is supplied by a 3498cc V6 petrol engine of 38kgm of peak torque. The 0-100kph is covered in 6.1 seconds and had the electronically limited top speed of 250kph (claimed). 2014 CLA also gets AIRMATIC suspension, which allows for adjustment of ground clearance. Other features include, Active Park Assist, reversing camera, parking sensors, and a sliding sunroof.
Commenting at the launch, Mercedes-Benz India’s managing director and CEO, Eberhard Kern said, “CLS-Class is a perfect embodiment of modern sense of status and sensual shapes. With its exciting design and refined sportiness, the model year 2014 CLS offers highest level of exclusivity, ride comfort and safety that is second to none.”

Talking about its rivals, CLS 350 would stand strong against the Audi A7 and BMW 6-series. However, while the CLS 350 is powered by a 3.5-litre petrol engine, at this price point, the Audi A7 and BMW 6-series both are powered by 3.0-litre diesel engines.
