Doing the new product launch just one after the other, Mercedes seems in a jiff to take over the market leading position from Audi, which the Ingolstadt based carmaker had recently been bestowed with. Audi had posted good numbers in every times of this year, and so the end-number of launches had also been conducted by them recently on Indian shores. Following this same trait, Mercedes Benz now finally decided to produce the E Class facelift locally which they had rolled out its first specific version in market for Rs. 40.73 lakh ex showroom Pune.
The picture that one can see over here is taken in the Chakan facility of Pune, that was concluded after a soft launch happened there itself in the manufacturing bay. Besides the newly launched E Class, MB had also unveiled the E63 AMG version at its soft launch on BIC recently, which is slated to be rolled out very soon on a nearby paddock.
2013 Mercedes Benz E Class boasts the assimilated headlamps, new body lines, two slats on front grille, sporty exhaust note, updated steering wheel, and many more to name for the interiors as well as exteriors. In India, Germans had rolled it out in the 2.0 liter petrol engine churning out 182PS and 300Nm of torque called E200 CGI, whilst the other one named E250 CDI uses the 2.2 liter diesel engine of 204PS and 500Nm of torque.
E Class is one of the best selling badges for Germans in India, as they had sold more than 23,000 units since the launch happened in 1995, and are expecting more out of it with this new face of hope and the mark of rise.
