In lines with expectations, Mercedes-Benz has showcased three of its latest products at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Two of these cars are going to be placed in the Indian auto market whereas the third is a concept car. The latest M-Class has been showcased and it looks very promising. It has been provided with fresh looks along with a lot of additional features. The car surely packs a lot of punch and is going to provide tough competition to other SUVs in its segment. Mercedes is also planning to have the M-Class localized; thereby it is going to be less costly and more competitive.
Along with the M-Class, another vehicle that has been showcased is its convertible, the SLS AMG. Having taken the roof away from this car seems to have added extra appeal to it. This car was unveiled by Mr. Bernd Maylander, the driver of a Formula I safety car since 2000 along with Mr. Debasish Mitra of Mecedes-Benz India.
The A-Class concept car has also been revealed but its production version is not going to enter the Indian auto market very soon. The press conference that had been organized by MB India on this occasion featured for top celebrities. They were Ms. Gupta, the well-known fashion artist; the famous author Chetan Bhagat, cricketer Irfan Pathan and film maker and actor, Farhan Akhtar.
Since the products have only been showcased today and they have not yet been officially launched, hence the prices of these vehicles are not available now.
