Mercedes-Benz India is all set to roll out the ML 250 CDI, a smaller-engined edition of the ML with the aim to turn into a well-known player in the luxury sport utility vehicle sector.
The third-generation ML, which was rolled out in the month of May 2012 is presently offered with a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel, tagged the ML 350 CDI.The ML 250 CDI is a 4-cylinder, 2,143 cubic centimeter diesel motor generating around 204 bhp@4200 revolutions per minute and 51 kgm of maximum torque at 1600-2500 revolutions per minute. This motor is set up by Force Motors for MB India and is also presented on the C-Class and E-Class. Torquey and sensibly refined, the engine is also identified for its adequate economy numbers.
With the India assembly of the ML commencing, Mercedes-Benz will eye to value the ML 250 CDI somewhat lower as well.
As per reports, this variant will lack certain traits to maintain the cost rather cutthroat.
The existing ML 350 CDI is valued at Rs.65 lakh, ex-showroom.
