With more aspirated launches and new machines for young generation has benefitted Mercedes-Benz India extensively. As per to the sales report of March, growth of 53% is reported at the Benz headquarters including the sales number across the country (year-on-year basis). Furthermore, the sales of first three months of the year 2015 are also the highest quarterly sales in that quarter of the year ever reported by this company. Posting a growth of 40% the German carmaker with star logo sold 3,566 units in those three months.
Concluding the number for FY2014-15, it was the most successful; Benz sold 11,213 units against 9,548 units of the previous year, which brought the number of growth of 17.5 to their table. Apart from the growth figure, it also made the Mercedes-Benz as a first luxury carmaker in India to sell more than 11,000 cars in a year.
As per the guidance lent by Mercedes-Benz India, the new C-Class had contributed huge sales to this galore of numbers. New E-Class have significantly surged the number of deals in first quarter. On the sides, GLA and CLA both have kept pushing the momentum by their own stress. The demand for GL and ML posted a strong consistency, which saying a slight surge experienced will not prove wrong either.
