Mercedes Benz S Class coupe concept is now finally revealed. It will sit in the MB’s repertoire as a successor to the CL-Class, and is seen adjoining cues from the S-Class Saloon which has arrived earlier this year.
However, we learnt that S Class coupe is based on the platform of S Class itself. Meanwhile, it draws jaws too from the hatchback A Class and in the form of gorgeous fluidic lines and body structure.
The S Class coupe concept measures 5,050mm long, 1,958mm wide and 1,409mm high, riding on a 2,945mm wheelbase; while the cabin does a bit clinching job measuring some inches short than the current CL Class. It remains undoubted that S Class coupe concept will be holding the high range of luxury and equipments inside the cabin, in competition it will astride the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and its likes for most of the stances.
Powertrains to be engulfed down from the twin-turbo-V8 500 and AMG versions, alongside the most hyped 500 Hybrid in the list.
Full-LED headlamps, 21-inch wheels are some of the option that we feel maybe carried over to the production-specific from the S Class Concept.
Mercedes Benz presently priced CL-Class is for about £95,000 (Rs. 95 lakh) in the UK market, we too expect the new S Coupé to also be priced nearing that same tag line.
