Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman spied for first time, and it seems to be an armored variant.
The test mule was spied in front of Brabus’ factory in Bottrop, Germany. It is been speculated the car to be powered by a V12 and to be of the S600 version. It will approximately measure 6.4 meters (252 inches) in length, and if it happened to be the armored version then it will scale at 5,300 kg (11,684 lbs). Able to withstand continuous fire, hand grenades and explosions, its armored steel body panels as well as the other changes will make it to reach the list of most VVIPs buyers around the world.
The armored Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman will probably have a seating arrangement of 2+2+2. It would carry a starting price tag of 920,000 EUR (about 1.27M USD / 757,300 GBP). Launch or unveiling shall take place in 2015, while the extended wheelbase Maybach is expected to arrive in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The stretched wheelbase notched by 20cm compared to the current long-wheelbase S-Class.
