2014 Mercedes Benz E Class had made debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show and is now finally making its routes towards India in the same avatar (of the international debut) but with an “unknown quotation of price tag”.
That’s true; Mercedes Benz had previewed it exclusively at the BIC over the weekend and had not stated its price for the Indian context. However, it is slated to go on sale here from 25th June 2013 and the organization hadn’t finally announced quotations for the audience to rely upon.
The preview was held for some of the exclusive MB customers who had stayed a strong pillar for the bespoken model plate throughout its entire life on Indian camping. And need not to say, the three pointed German auto brand had sold 800 numbers of E Series in the past quarter alone which they wanted to continue to write down this same success story in future as well, hence the 2014 version is the answer to same.
However, the event was termed as ‘Mercedes Corporate Star Experience’ and due to it company got an opportunity to meet its potential customers in an informal manner which had shredded light on how to make the ‘Star’ better in future.
Not much known from the soft launch but learnt 2014 E Class will made debut in two engine options, one each for petrol and diesel. The gasoline trim to be named as E 200 whereas the oil burner got to be tagged as E 250 CDI, whilst the ongoing E 350 CDI to get discontinued from the repertoire as soon as the launch may happen. New version is definitely going to set benchmark for MB India because the officials are stating it to host more fuel-efficient engines than before in context of both the fuel trims.
