MG Motor India has revealed its plans for the country and will launch its production version Q2 here in India next year. The company is also planning to bring a full electric car here by 2024.
This was revealed by President and Managing Director of the company Rajeev Chaba. MG Motor’s Chinese owner SAIC has extensive experience in developing and marketing electric cars, so it is expected that they will play a major role in MG Motor’s electric car plans for India.
It is also a possibility that MG Motor might borrow from SAIC’s Roewe lineup and make modifications to the car to suit Indian market.
