Milestone for Skoda India

The Aurangabad plant of Skoda Auto India recently rolled out its 1,00,001st car in the market. This event became even more special because the 100,001st vehicle of this plant was the newly launched Skoda Yeti. This occasion was graced with the presence of the ambassador of Czech Republic, Mr. Miloslav Stasek and the Board Member of Sales and Marketing at Skoda Auto and the Chairman of Skoda Auto India Mr Stackmann. Mr. Stasek graced the ambience with his wise words “this is the biggest investment by far in India any Czech company has made. Skoda Auto India has been able to achieve an incredible growth. The world class products which are provided by Skoda, offers high quality products with human touch, that is the reason that we consider them the strongest pillars of our success.”

Later on Mr. Stackmann added that, Skoda Auto entered the Indian auto market ten years ago which the company thought of being a very important market in the near future, with great spirit of leadership and entrepreneurship, and they succeeded in making their stand in the market for sure. He further added that this achievement would have been possible because of the continuous support of the Indian government, its employees, business partners, suppliers and especially its valuable and trusted customers. Over the last decade Skoda has reinvented itself as one of the strong, sensible, sensitive and important of all a clever player in the automobile sector in India. Now the Aurangabad manufacturing plant of the Skoda Auto is its strength and with this strength makes them capable enough of playing a more important role in the near future. Skoda Auto is planning to expand it’s horizons in the Indian market. Let’s see that whether the ambitious plans of the Skoda Auto will bore them a fruitful result or not. For now we can’t really say anything about what future has in store for the Skoda Auto but for now we are happy with Skoda’s progress like the Chairman of the Skoda Auto said “we at Skoda Auto are extremely proud of our achievements and we want to take the today’s opportunity to congratulate our all shareholders.”
