Hindustan Motors in association with Mitsubishi Motors have made announcement about Diwali discount price of their latest, Pajero Sport.
As per reports, Hindustan Motors has localized the assembly of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and slashed its rate by around Rs 1.87 lakh.
Now, the Pajero Sport will be set up at Hindustan Motors’s Tiruvallur facility near Chennai and has been valued at Rs 22.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Hindustan Motors in a declaration stated that presently parts such as tyres, battery, seat belts, pane of glass, lamps, wiper assembly, alloy wheels and headlining were the key items being localized.
The declaration stated that presently, the localization proportion was around 14% and the firm anticipated to augment this quantity by around 30 per cent by the coming financial year.
The CKD Pajero sport will carry on to be catered by a 2.5 L common rail turbo diesel engine fabricating 175bhp and 400Nm of torc.
While commenting on the localization, Mr. Uttam Bose, managing director, Hindustan Motors limited stated, “We are delighted to declare our beginning of assembly of the Pajero Sport at our Tiruvallur facility and are contented to broaden the price advantage to our clients. With Pajero Sport being locally made, the fabrication numbers is ready to increase to more than 400 units and also the facility has capacitance to expand operations based on market needs,” he added.
