Tata recently launched the Tata Aria in India in four different variants. Three are two wheel drive variants, while the other one is a basic variant that is dubbed as Pure. Being the most basic of the all the variants, this SUV is doesn’t feature any airbags, Bluetooth connectivity, controls mounted on the steering wheel, GPS, driver seats adjustability according to height and cruise control. The Pure however features ABS though without the EBD and 16″‘ pressed all steel wheels.
Meanwhile, the 4×2 Aria is now lighter by as much as 200kgs, as the company decided to do away with the 4×4 system, slightly improving the mileage to 13.7kmpl. The Aria range in India is now available for INR 11.61 lakhs for the 4×2 Pure variant, INR 12.61 lakhs for the Pleasure variant, and INR 14.26 lakhs for the Prestige, all according to ex-showroom prices in Delhi.
