The production ready version of the Aston Martin Rapide E electric sedan has been unveiled by Aston Martin at the ongoing Shanghai Motor Show.
The car would start to go out to its buyers by the end of this year. Price of the Rapide E has not been revealed, but it is being said the car is available for pre- order now. Only 155 units of the car would be produced.
When it comes to design, the Rapide E features a completely redesigned front compared to the standard Rapide. The car also gets a larger rear diffuser which results in improved aero dynamic for the car. Updates can be seen in the interior too. A 10-inch digital instrument display shows all the necessary driving information to the driver. Extensive carbon-fiber use on the inside of the car can be seen to reduce weight.
The car is powered by a 800 volt battery which has a range of over 200 miles on full charge.
