Chevrolet’s Beat being quite old in India with that similar face, is apparently bound to tear apart the competition with a new face and ‘Beat’ down the rest. Reportedly, the Chevy’s small car is spied with a new face in Korea. However, the model is said to be of 2016 badge and is sporting all new avatar than the previous-generation. Hunting down its proximity, a source also confined it to be a lifted version of the mildly-restyled Karl of Opel, which is sold as a city car in the international market.
Unlike to the cute and sharp design of current-gen Beat, remodeled version appears more round and bold. The cues appears resembling to the current lineup of Cruze. When moved to the sides, it became noticeable the profile isn’t changed a lot. Exclusively, the C-pillar integrated rear door handle is carried over. In fact, the rear isn’t visible for now, but believably this car would look more or less same as the Opel Karl with boomerang tail lamps.
Under the bonnet, Chevrolet planted the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol motor for international retail outlets whereas the famous diesel does come with the same configuration of 1.0-litre. It is bound to be seen what the Indian version would hold when arrived with this new cosmetic surprise.
