Chevrolet Spark can’t be manufactured in India without the automaker making significant investments is known to all. But did you know that the company will be heavily redesigning the current Beat and make it an all-new vehicle? Here’s some news!!!
The next-generation Chevrolet Beat won’t adopt the M2 platform of international spec-2016 Spark. In terms of equipments and design, the new model will share plenty of parts with 2016 Spark. Just like the Spark’s grownup interior, the automaker doesn’t want Beat to feature it, which means it will have Chevrolet signature 3-spoke steering wheels, revised dashboard, normal analogue-digital instrument cluster, and more. Also, the redesigned Chevrolet Beat would be seven-inch touchscreen multimedia system.
Motivation for the Beat would come from a new three-cylinder 1.2 liter petrol and 1.0 liter diesel engine. The time frame is yet to be announced, nonetheless, reports suggest that General Motors would bring the new Beat to India by 2017. Not to forget, the automaker is also planning to make India its global production hub for compact vehicles. All they need to do is capitalize a better marketing strategy. What do you think?
