Hyundai India launched the New Hyundai Venue 2022 and we bring you all the details about it.
Hyundai has launched the naturally aspirated variant of the Venue at an introductory price of Rs.7.53 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and It is offered in five variants E, S, S+, S(O), & SX(O). The pricing of the turbo petrol and the diesel variants start at Rs 9.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Hyundai was able to achieve this pricing, as they are now offering these engines in the lower trim as well.
The colour options for the New Hyundai Venue are Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey, and Fiery Red. It will also get a dual-tone colour option with a black roof on certain variants and paint options.
The facelifted Venue features cosmetic changes and mechanically remains the same as the ongoing model. It is now offered with more premium and comfort features than before.
The Venue receives what Hyundai calls a ‘Sensuous Sporty Design’ language for the SUV. The front now features a bold dark chrome grille, which looks quite familiar to the 7-seater Alcazar. The side profile gets big- bold contour lines and redesigned alloy wheels to highlight the premium and futuristic appeal of the Venue. Visually, the Venue is wider than its predecessor.
The rear end now features a first in the segment, connecting LED tail lamps. The LED lamps also feature sharp hexagonal cut crystal elements.
The interiors have been designed with inspiration from the elder sibling the Creta. It gets a four-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster with drive modes. The dashboard gets a dual-tone theme of black-beige. In terms of convenience features, the Venue gets an electric sunroof, an engine start-stop button, powered driver’s seat adjustment, reclining rear seats, wireless phone charger & paddle shifters. The touch infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity. The Venue also comes with Hyundai’s Bluelink Connectivity.
The facelifted Venue is offered with the same powertrain options as the current model. Which includes two petrol engines and a diesel engine. The 1.0L turbo petrol churns out 118 HP and 172 Nm torque, the 1.2 L Naturally Aspirated engine produces 82 HP & 115 Nm, & lastly, the 1.5L diesel produces 99 HP & 240 Nm torque. These engines are available with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
