Mercedes has been giving technical detail teasers of its 2014 S-Class but thanks to an anonymous tipster the presentation has leaked.
First and foremost it is suggested the Mercedes S-Class will begin production in August and by September will be ready for launching. By the month of October or November, the S550 4MATIC and S63 AMG 4MATIC will also follow.
Apart from the roof and front panel, a variety of the components will be featured in aluminum and the design will be evolutionary. The car will be available in 11 color patterns including three (3) new options, Diamond Shine, Ruby Black and Anthracitic Blue.
The cabin will be nicely fitted out with wood/leather steering wheel, a Burmester radio with light-emitting diode (LED) ambient lighting. A Panoramic sun roof is expected with illuminated door sill plates and soft close doors. There will be a dramatic reduction in the noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). As for inner sides, two 12.3 industrial displays are used for instrumental cluster and COMMAND infotainment system. It will also feature GPS Navigation, iPod, MP3 interface and mbrace 2-technology. The system is also expected to gain an Audi MMI touch like the Touchpad 2015.
You will be able to choose from four (4) different wood trims, which consist of Burl Walnut, Myrle Sunbeast, Black Popular and Metalized Ash. The AMG will offer Piano Black and Carbon Fiber trim. The leather seats will be available in Nappa leather as well as designer leather. They will be available in six colors. The technology and other exciting and superb features are said to be first class, including the Advanced Night View Assist PLUS system that detects both human as well as animals.
The S-Class is to be revealed at an invitation event only in Germany on May 15th.
