According to a strategically leaked photograph of the Skoda Yeti, it is apparent that this model will be an upgraded version. According to reports, this new upgraded crossover model is currently under testing at the Skoda testing tracks.
Skoda engineers have been working round the clock and reported to have completed the finishing touches. The photograph reveals a new grille, a new facade in the front and has superior and bigger air inlets. The grille bears a resemblance to the Skoda Rapid model, but the headlights have been redesigned and look much sleeker.
The rear of the Skoda Yeti has a brand new tail lamp which looks somewhat decorative. While the changes are merely cosmetic, the Skoda Yeti upgraded version is bound to give competition a run for their money. The Skoda Yeti is distinctively sporty with an in your face appearance, detailed for ultimate driving comfort and pleasure. Skoda is slowly making inroads into India and the Yeti is bound to improve Skoda’s market share in the country. The Skoda Yeti has been positioned well to fill up a segment- the compact SUV. Other Skoda models include the Skoda Octavia Fabia.
Though car enthusiasts feel that the Skoda Yeti may come with a new engine, the present version has a 2.0 liter TDI CR 16V DOHC Turbo Charged liquid cooled 4 cylinder high pressure direct injection diesel engine. This diesel engine has a six speed manual transmission and revs up to 140 brake horsepower at 4200 revolutions per minute, with a torque of 320Nm at 1750 to 2500 revolutions per minute.
Though the photograph reveals the exterior design, it would be pure speculation to predict as what exactly would be cased under the hood. Going by previous models, one thing is certain-the Skoda Yeti Crossover model will be fuel efficient.
