Volkswagen Polo facelift, the one with the minor changes (comparatively) is about to launch on July 15, 2014; as usual the roving eyes of spies captured them in flesh before they reached dealerships. Here, one such example had surfaced the spies had caught the Polo facelift in India without camouflages (in production ready form). It can be taken notice of they are seemed to be in the stockyard of the company.
As per to some sources, the dealers had started accepting the bookings of 2014 Polo.
Naming the changes, the new Polo is tweaked cosmetically as well technically. On the outer, the bumpers are all new with redesigned foglight enclosures, new mirror elements for the headlights, a new alloy wheel design and a single-slat chrome grille. The other changes can be named as 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine will handle the diesel and GT TDI variants of the new Polo. It’s expected to deliver the output of 90 PS in regular version, and 105 PS in the GT.
Hope so, the diesel GT may take some time to roll of the production line in India. Hence, there were some changes missed on the India-spec Polo which were found lucrative on the European version.
